Taj Pahlavi is the name of the royal crown that was built by order of Reza Shah Pahlavi and was used in the coronation of him and his successor Mohammad Reza Shah. This crown is now kept in the treasury of the Central Bank of Iran (National Jewelry Museum).

The body of this crown is made of inlaid gold and silver and has a stepped gangre in the style of Sassanid kings on the four sides. In the middle and below the front congress of the crown, a golden sun with diamond rays and a large yellow diamond seed is installed, and behind this gangreh, a slim base collar is placed, on the back of which a heron feather is installed.

3380 pieces of diamonds weighing 1144 carats, 5 emeralds weighing 199 carats and 2 annas, 2 sapphires weighing 19 carats and 368 pearls were used in making this crown. The weight of the crown, including the inner velvet hat, is equal to 444 shekels or about two kilos and eighty grams.
