About the design used:

“Artemis” or “Artemis” in the word means great truth. Artemis is the first and only lady admiral of the world. Greek historians have called her the best of all women of that time in terms of beauty, prominence, and sobriety.

In 484 BC, Xerxes of Achaemenid issued a naval mobilization order to participate in the war against the Greeks. Artemis, the governor of the land of Karbeh, joined the Iranian Navy with five warships that he commanded. In this battle, Iran succeeded in capturing Athens. In this battle, the Iranian ground force consisted of 800,000 infantry and 80,000 cavalry. Iran’s navy had 1200 warships and 300 transport ships. Artemis was the first lady who received her admiralty command from Xerxes of Achaemenid.In 480 BC, Artemis took part in the “Salamis” war, which was fought between the Iranian and Greek naval forces, and showed a lot of bravery. He was always praised by friends and even enemies.

In the battle of Salamis, in the most difficult conditions of the war, he was able to save a part of the Iranian navy from the danger of destruction with rare courage and fearlessness. It was for this reason that he was honored to receive the command of the admiralty from Xerxes. He even proposed marriage to Xerxes, but for some reasons this marriage did not take place, especially since the issue of succession to the throne could be of vital importance.

The heaviest warship that has ever been active in Iran’s war fleet was named after this sailor during the Pahlavi regime. Iran bought the destroyer HMS Sloss from Britain in 1345 and named it Artemis destroyer.
